How do I get free shipping?

Simply place an order totaling $179 or over within the Continental US to qualify for free standard shipping!

How do I track my order?

When your order ships from our warehouse (usually around 4pm EST) you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can also log into you Paperworks account by clicking "my account" in the upper right hand corner of the site than choose "my order history" and simply click the track shipment button near your order.

When will my order ship?

Here at Paperworks we strive to provide the fastest possible shipping time on the web! All orders placed before 4pm EST Monday-Friday will leave our location the same day. The only exception to this rule would be if your item were back-ordered in which case you will receive an email the same day.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Unfortunately we cannot accept checks, paypal, purchase orders, or IOUs.

Can I get samples?

Sure you can, we offer a range of sample packs located here.  Additionally, we offer samples of most 8-1/2x11 papers.  Simply click "Purchase Samples" on the product page for a five sheet sampler for $5.00 (standard USPS shipping included).  Please note since samplers are shipped standard USPS, tracking information is not available nor is there a guaranteed delivery date.  Samplers are NOT refundable.

How quickly can I get my Paper?

If you place your order before 4pm EST, it will ship out the same day. We ship out of Rhode Island, therefore all of New England and New York City and its closest suburbs can expect next business day delivery with UPS Ground. Below is a UPS shipping map outlining UPS ground speed for the US. If we are low on stock, we will inform you.

What is the difference between Cover and Text?

Text - Copy paper territory. Light enough to fold, but the heavier text weights (32/80 or 100T) can handle heavy 2-sided ink coverage. Used for letterhead, brochures, or layering into cards.

Cover - A type of Cardstock. Much heavier and bulkier. Usually can be tough to fold. Not all printers can handle heavy cardstocks. Good for business cards, greeting cards etc.

What is Coated Paper?

This is a sheet that has a special coating on the surface to enhance print quality, and this applies to both ink-jet papers and laser papers. There are a variety of finishes available - you can have a cast coat (hi - gloss) coating, a regular gloss (similar to magazine pages), but you can also have a matte/silk coating. Many people are under the impression that glossy automatically means better print quality. This is not always the case - a Silk or Dull coating can do a beautiful job with images as well.

How do I choose the right Coated Paper?

The first question you need to ask yourself is: do I have an ink-jet printer or a color copier/laser printer?

INK-JET: If you have an ink-jet, then you will have to stick to photo quality papers. Unfortunately, there is not a great selection of glossy brochure paper for ink-jet printers.

LASER/COLOR COPIER: Do you need a thick paper for business cards or post cards? Look into coated cover/cardstock. These sheets are thicker and sturdier. For brochures, pages for booklets, or anything you may need to fold, you would want to stick to a text weight.

Do you do custom cutting?

Yes we do! Any product on our site that can be cut will have a "custom cutting, perfing and scoring" tab just click on that, once there choose if you would like your order cut, scored or perfed and than enter your dimensions and your done! Our cutting is a flat rate of $30 per size cut, this means you can get as many packages of the same paper cut to the same size for a flat rate of just $30.  Orders placed before 3pm will get cut and shipped the same day. Looking for a bigger size than we offer? As long as we have a large enough sheet to cut it out of, we can cut it! Just give us a call and we'll take care of the details for you.

Can I place a Tax Exempt Order?

CT, MA, RI tax exempt customers please fax a copy of your tax exempt certificate to 800-333-5768 or email to store@paperworks.com to setup your account as so. Note: All other states will not be charged tax, therefore no need to fax us your information.

What side to these envelopes open on?

Standard #10 and "a-size" envelopes open on the long side. #10 envelopes that open on the short side are called "policy". When it comes to your 6x9, 9x12, 10x13 etc there is an easy way to tell, all envelopes called "catalog" open on the short side, while all envelopes called "booklet" open on the long side.

What type of shipping do you offer?

Here at Paperworks we ship exclusively with UPS, we offer ground, 3 day select, 2nd day air and next day air service. Our UPS rates are UPS published rates with no handling or extra changes built in. If you have your own UPS account feel free to provide your own shipper number and we will ship third party. We have dealt with other popular carriers with little luck, one of them was way to expensive and the other destroyed all the packages we shipped (plus they weren't very trackable).

Can I use my own UPS account?

You sure can! Just select "Use my UPS account" and make sure to provide you account number and required shipping speed in the comment box towards the end of the order. Please make sure to include a valid UPS account number, if you do not your order will not ship.
